Undergraduate Programmes

Undergraduate degrees from a UK institution are recognised throughout the world for their high academic standards. The University of Wales Trinity Saint David offers degrees of the University of Wales. These require 3 years of full time study.  You can choose to study a single honours programme (one subject) or combine two subjects in a joint honours programme.

About the programmes

The University’s undergraduate degree programmes are modular in structure. A module is a unit of study that has its own Level (4, 5 or 6 in the National Qualifications Framework), credit rating (10 or 20 points), syllabus, defined learning outcomes and assessment requirements.

The regulations of the University of Wales require the accumulation of 360 credits for the award of an Honours Degree, 240 credits for the award of a Diploma in Higher Education, and 120 credits for a Certificate in Higher Education. For fulltime undergraduate students Levels 4, 5 and 6 are normally equivalent to Years 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
